About Me

I'm Suchith Sridhar, a Software Engineer at Stripe on the ML-Serving team within ML Foundations, based in Toronto. I graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor's in Computer Science, receiving the University Medal for the highest GPA in my graduating class.

My interests span machine learning, algorithms, systems programming, full-stack development, and Linux. I've implemented transformer architectures and auto-diff engines from scratch, published research in genomic indexing and network security, founded the Dalhousie Linux Society, and have two years of experience teaching ML and algorithms as a TA. I care about understanding things from first principles, whether that's a neural network, a compiler, or a distributed system.

I also run my own self-hosted cloud on a home server. Rather than relying on third-party services for everything, I host Immich for photos, Paperless-ngx for documents, Jellyfin for media, and Seafile for file sync, among other services. It's a good excuse to stay hands-on with Linux, networking, and infrastructure outside of work.
